When Good Days turn bad.

It's really not that bad...
Monday - birthday - bad eats... but yummy, fun, and expected
Tuesday - good eats until about 4pm... got on a candy kick. And to make matters worse, the candy made me feel sluggish and I didn't end up getting my run in. I was within my calories (IF I HAD RUN... but I didn't).

Well, I'm turning things around. I got 4 miles in this morning. Healthy breakfast. Today is going to be a great day. Starting off feeling empowered with a run always helps!

The other thing is... that I'm beginning the weening process from coffee and sodas. Yesterday, only one cup of coffee and one 20oz Coke Zero. I haven't had coffee yet this morning, but thought I'd push it as long as I can before the caffeine headache begins. My friend gave me an awesome Longhorn water cup with lid for my birthday. That's helped me to drink water instead of soda and coffee. :-D

  1. Good luck cutting out the caffeine! I don't think I could ever do that. Iced coffee makes me world go 'round!

  2. I am inspired by your runs and healthy lifestyle. And hats off on reducing the caffiene and sodas. I must admit, my energy level isnt where it was because I lived off of coffee for so long. But I am sure with increased exercise - it will come back. Kudos to you for your achievements and getting back on track. Oh, and Happy Belated Birthday to ya!

  3. Good luck weening off coffee! I'm trying to cut coffee out of my life too. I've been drinking a lot of tea, it isn't the same but it has been helping.
