Blah

I'm feeling kind of blah right now.
I'm ready for the school semester to be finished... and trying to keep my head wrapped around my healthy lifestyle (with some fails and misses along the way).

Today was Easter... great church service... and I LOVE my church family.
Sunday is Jules' day with her Daddy (she goes with him after church), and I had a little bummed feeling this afternoon since she wasn't with me. Don't get me wrong... we had a blast on Saturday for all the festivities (check family blog), but I missed her today. I had a little encounter this morning that reminded me of my disappointment in my former life... and that probably didn't help any either. On to greener pastures and positive supportive people though.

I'm glad I've built in a couple of motivational pieces for myself. This coming Saturday, I'm running in a 5k to aid our county's Women's Center... against domestic violence. My family has been heavily involved in this for years and I'm looking forward to the run. My sister, Mom and Jules are walking in the 1 mile fun run. (by the way... my sister is having a baby girl in September and we are SO excited!)

Next Saturday, I'm running in the Zoo Run 10k. (again Mom, Sister and Jules are walking in the 1 mile fun run) Afterward, we get to hang out at the zoo for a while.
So... those are good motivation. I need to find another way to stay motivated.

Any suggestions?

  1. I love that you are so commitedly active in running. I commend you for that. Back home, my family was my church family. I can see what you mean. Have fun on your runs!
